In Spring 2011 CGtC visited Tec Voc High School to facilitate a youth conference in collaboration with the Climate Change Connection – division of the Manitoba Eco Network.
Grade 10 students participated in a web-based exploration of different themes related to local sustainability initiatives. These where then related to the medicine wheel in order to have a discussion on interconnection, and to present a holistic and local First Nations perspective on sustainability. This was then followed by a brief discussion on how to get involved in local sustainability initiatives.
